May 15, 2022 · My wife and I love lunch at Topo Gigio, especially on the patio on a warm and sunny summer day. Which we finally experienced recently. Located at 1516 North Wells Street in Chicago's Old Town neighborhood, Topo Gigio was been rated one of Chicago's finest Italian restaurants for over 25 years. It is my fault really that we came here. I insisted it must be good because it was named after one of my favourite cartoons as a child, TOPO GIGIO. Fond memories. An Italian Restaurant that from the outside seems quite small but in the inside the main dining area covers and extensive part of the basement, whilst the top offers a bar area.Topo Gigio is a great italian restaurant convenient to the Messe Frankfurt area. It's slightly off the beaten path, so we didn't have a difficult time getting a table during a large trade fair.
