For anyone wondering, you can access THE ZONE OF CONTAMINATION (aka: the new DLC mine map), go towards the Immutable Hesitation map marker in Transfer Pass and then go up left as you're facing it and you'll find a passable section. Comes down from the corner of the town lot, from the rise at the road which makes the t-intersection with the coastal road. When looking at the Steam maps, I noticed the bear that is supposed to spawn near Misanthrope's Homestead.
